In 1989, one guy ---with a little help on the graphics side --- could produce an entertaining and commercially viable shareware game. You may need SCUMMVM for play under 64 bit Windows: The Nitemare 3D trilogy used DOOM WADs to construct a more or less family-oriented introduction to the first-person shooter.
Morgan LeFlay. She and Guybrush play off each other marvelously. You rarely get to see more than a glimpse of Elaine in the Monkey island series. But Morgan is someone you will come to know and care about --- and her fate comes as a shock. To see her entangled at the very end in the Voodoo Lady's increasingly strange and unfathomable machinations will have you longing for a sequel.
