Poor gameplay hidden by even worse lighting. Formula is how to sell a crap game, make it so dark nobody can see and then pretend that makes it tense. Nope makes it annoying and unplayable.
Graphics are quite nice but overall the game is bland and the story uninteresting. Puzzles are pretty easy, most being trial and error. Complete puzzle, get key to room, do the puzzle in that room and get next key and repeat.
This is an overall good story destroyed by terrible keyboard controls. You spend 90% of your time lost in the dark trying to workout which way your character is going. Simply puzzles require you to carryout multiple needless steps leaving you marching across the house having interactions with characters. Your companion has the light but is constantly miles from you. Annoying.
