This was a use of panzer general engine for something other than a World War 2 game. It feels like you're playing in the world of 'The Black Company'. It is very old though. If you have played newer games of this nature you will probably not like the lack of QoL features. It's also quite funny that they accidently left in the machine gun sounds in some areas given that it's a fantasy game. Know what you're getting into. If you want to play something modern go for Unity of Command 2 or Panzer Corps 2. If you want to take a trip into the 90s then this game is cheap and a lot of fun.
This is a very old game. It has none of the quality of life features you want. You will fight the controls. You will ask why the hell the developer did that. Dark Omen is bad enough, but this is far far worse in terms of playabily. It also probably won't run. Only buy this if you want a challenge and are cool with a fight against the controls. I played this in 90s. I like it. The story is pretty great for a GW game set in the old world. I wish they would remake it. It's more of a curiosity than anything else.
