First off, I would not buy this unless it's on sale for $10 or less. The game is quite short with no replayability, which in itself is fine. Stories Untold was great for what it is. I think Observation is only "good" for what it is. The sci-fi story is intriguing and you will want to know what's happens next, although it's a little confusing and open-ended. Which could be good or bad depending on your tastes. There is definitely an initial novelty to the gameplay but it kind of wears off after the first few sections. It's repetitive but not insanely repetitive; helped by the fact that the game is short. The puzzle gameplay isn't really going to test your intellect much. The hardest parts involve deciphering diagrams and things like that but even those were quite easy. There are also parts of the game which is basically pixel-hunting which isn't particularly fun and made me want to use a walkthrough to find things. That being said, the game does encourage you to explore and doesn't always hand-hold you, so that could be good if you're into that. Even in March 2021, when I played this, there are still bugs. A couple bugs that I encountered include NPCs clipping through walls which forced me to guess where the NPC is and me not being able to proceed through a section because a cutscene triggered before it was supposed to, forcing a re-load of the save. Speaking of saves, as others have mentioned, there is only one save slot and there is no way to manually save. So backup your save just in case (it's in your Appdata/LocalLow folder) Overall: Decent, short adventure game with a good story & mediocre gameplay. Wish they would fix the bugs though. Also, please pay attention to the seizure warning if it affects you.
