Quake 3 is an amazing fast paced multiplayer arena shooter (is what I would be saying if i didn't totally suck arse at it) nuff said, you already know that, we all know it. However there's a reason you should get this instead of quake live, you see... much like many other "free" shooters, quake live uses a horrible virus like drm/anti cheat program called GameGuard, just look it up and you will find page after page of disgruntled players warning you about it This is a common technique, and while it is mostly used in korean/chinese online fpsses only sometimes a western game will adopt this horrible system Quake 3 however, does not have this as far as I know (unless Bethesda sneakily added it in in which case expect an edit of this review) In my opinion £13 is worth not downloading a virus... nuff said.
