I grew up playing the original Geneforge games, always anticipating the release of a new one, with 5 games in the series and now 2 remakes there's enough content to keep you entertained for hundreds of hours. Each games story ties in perfectly with each other, with fascinating lore. The different classes, skills and creations along with different factions to align with means no playthrough will ever be truly the same. I've almost beaten Geneforge 5 with all 9 classes, it's that good. To top it off, it's all made by one man: Jeff Vogel. What a legend.
One of my favorite games of all time, every so often ill come back and play through this absolute gem of a game. The amount of playable classes and factions means that no playthrough will ever be quite the same. The remakes still dont hold a candle to this beauty.
