Absolute gem of a game, blessed be its existence.. Every encounter from beginning to end is carefully crafted and unique, with focus on providing challenge for your gray matter and delight for your spectacle cravings. No fight is the same, each duel is a test for your imagination and an opportunity to be creative. The team has gone above and beyond to construct engaging content and magically come up with new mechanics to throw at you every time you think the game has nothing left in its sleeve. The story deserves exceptional praise, it is nothing alike what I expected from a product of this scope and is enough of a reason to go through Thronebreaker even if you aren't a fan of the gameplay. You aren't a witcher anymore, you are a ruler and that comes with consequences (and I actually mean "consequences", not in the buzzword way that game journalists often do) - the stakes are higher, there is never a correct choice, there will always be something impeding your progress. Thankfully, the weight is not for you alone, as there is a whole roster of characters who can either come to your aid or prove to be your undoing and let me tell you, I haven't seen such depth in written companions since Mass Effect 2. My personal favorite part of the whole experience is the soundtrack - whether it's the calm ambience of exploration or the intricate battle suites, there's not a single track that could be considered subpar and in fact, I believe the overall game would be nowhere near that good if the music wasn't pumping up your blood so badly. Special mention goes for the magnificent environment design, which is tremendously detailed and exceptionally varied and I would hang every single frame onto a gallery wall. Just buy it. It is a phenomenal game that provided more pleasure and satisfaction than the majority of AAAs out there. €10 bought me 40 hours of pure bliss and I will never forget the fandom for dooming The Witcher Tales to oblivion >:(
