Personal opinion, obviously, but this game sucked me in way faster than Diablo II ever did. The pet system is great, and helps you avoid the hassle of traveling all the way back to the main city to sell loot. The over world is expansive and inviting, and the dungeons are engaging and satisfying. On top of a variety of cool spells, you aren't just limited to having an attack and an ability on your two mouse buttons. You can have all your spells on a hotbar for your number keys and use all the spells and abilities you can get your grubby hands on. The way you can mix and match with skills and weapons gives you a surprising amount of versatility when considering your character build. I thought i would be stuck doing the same thing over and over for hours and hours and only getting new skills and abilities every few levels or so, but the skill point system let's me be as expansive or focused as i want on my spells and powers. the lack of weapon and armor restrictions on classes is another huge plus. I can be a wizard that wields giant 2 handed weapons, or a necromancer that shoots pistols. Character's aren't static roles anymore. If you liked the FATE games, Diablo, heck, even Runescape, get this game and play with a friend.
