Its not a bad game. But it is barely a game. Its short, and the story starts promising but its typical bad eugenics future man want a better world through its perversion of science. The best part of the games are reading the PDAs and seeing how far the devs went into defining a lot of unimportant characters in this game, I like it and it adds to immersion. It has that depressive Giger aesthetics that never really works on me.
I had a copy of this game as a kid gifted by a relative, and was playing it on heavily abused Pentium III PC. We had this PC in my village house, which was in the area of constant power surges when there is bad weather. One of my most vivid teenage memories (was 15 or 16) is playing this game on that old PC during the night of terrible storm where I decided to stay for a weekend alone. I was playing it around 2am while the most awful stormy wind was howling outside. I remember in game going to 3rd floor of the hotel (in game), in the side area romiging, then going back towards the doors, when doors opened on their own; lighting hit outside and power went out (in real life). I crapped my pants. Slept with a knife under a pillow that night. Was afraid to go to the bathroom for a piss. 10/10
Amazing atmosphere and sound design, its waaaay scarier than in previous two Dark Fall games. The whole game has this uneasy feeling, like something is going to jump at you at any moment. I knocked 1 star for few early jumpscares, and for Inspectors gruff voice which is the voice of Jonathan Boakes (creator of this game) trying very hard to sound hard.

You liked thief? Or previous Dishonored? Well this one is just that but better. Graphic and animation looks like a movie. Also its insanely overengineered game - You can decide to play with the hud off, without magic, just using flesh and steal and it still provides more than enough of a good expiriance. Love the whole dishonored series just cos it gives you the option of being sneaky, or full of psychopath, or anywhere in between. And this one actually has some decent story branching depending on what you do.
