Oh boy CDPR, Back when Cyberpunk was announced I've nearly jumped out of my pants as the setting is the wet dream of my generation. At first I was very much saddened when it was announced it will be an FPS/RPG, but I said damn, doing Sword/Sorcery/Fantasy for the Witcher for years must really burn you out and THIS IS CDPR they CAN'T MESS UP anything they touch, so I've pre-ordered (something I'm not doing since ME:Andromeda) and give them a chance with a genre I despise (FPS). Now while I can't speak for console peasants (just a joke chill), the PC version is also missing something that cuts deep, but it must be said that I've only encountered minor bugs and performance-wise it runs awesome (My rig is top-notch for 2018). When I started playing it felt awesome, the music, the setting, the voice acting, the first missions... but then all started to fall apart and it became clear that the game lacks the soul that the Witcher series had. Combat is fun at first but becomes repetitive, melee is... damn this game REALLY should've been a TPS (cutting ppl into slices with the katana or the mantis blade Witcher style, WHY NOT CDPR, WHY?). The RPG elements (I'm not seeing my V like 90% of the time..), cutscenes, characther customisation, meaningful side-missions are all deeply missing. Vehicle driving is a mess, AI is glitchy. Here I'm going to do a short summary: TRANSPARENCY CDPR! Even if you'd have delayed the game till next year people would've still trusted you, but this rushed and uncalled for release might have cost your reputation even if you'll fix the game (technical-wise, because it will still lack a soul). Look at Bethesda, Bioware, Blizzard and all other companies where are they now with their politics? Down the drain.. Next time you'll do better I hope. MUSIC 10/10 GRAPHICS (depending on your rig... could be 10/10 could be 9/10) STORY 5/10 GAMEPLAY 5/10 Overall, average +AAA game, will not do another playthrough :(

Well, I'm just a couple years late with this review.. By now there's hardly anyone who hasn't heard about the Witcher or the company behind it. With such a shallow and shady industry we have nowdays, CD Projekt Red created a beautiful experience that reminded gamers what great RPG's are about. You know that thing, which made us love Bioware, Black Isle Studios etc. a long time ago. Great Stories. There were some experiments in the past to make this beautiful world a living thing on the screens, but they ultimately failed to get the audience really interested. (IMO the recent Netflix series also failed in this matter). CDPR did the magic and I dare to say, improved on Sapkowski's short stories and made the world even more alive & enchanting. In short, you just have to give this series a go & try out for yourself. Start from the Witcher 1 and experience the care & growth till the very end of Blood & Wine. Check those prices often, as CDPR regularly hands the games out for nearly nothing. See for yourself what content you'll get for your money. In 2015 a new standard was set for RPG gaming. That is the Witcher 3. Enjoy.
