Beautiful Terran/Aircraft modeling, emotional-grasping story line, hot crazy air-combat, heroic mastero background music. 99% perfection. I don't know what else I can ask for. oh, maybe more missions and more airplanes?
What I feel good for this game: 1.The art in this game is impressive, real impressive, especially when colony ship landing on a planet, the scene is so beautiful that I never skip the cut scene even I have colonised thousands planets in so many games. 2.The AI is good. Well, maybe not so bright but I havn't seen AI do anything stupid. Sometimes the AI even do something amazing me (for example, my rival presents me 40 BC as gift just when I mass my fleet in nearby system.Not much money but that really makes me think about should I attack them or choose another target.) What I feel bad for this game: 1.They borrow so many ideas from CIV5 that makes me feel like I am playing a CIV5 MOO version. 2. Awful cinematic view, they put the camera too too too close to ship so you can only see the ship. You will see little gunfire, few missile, some explosions...mostly is the dumb ship flying around for God-know-what. 3.If you have many colonies finishing something in same around you will have a real lag in hand. My "Best" record is lag for 30 minutes just because I got advanced city planning tech completed and all my colonies(50+) are upgraded at same round. The same problem you will have is the epic space fight with Antarans. When both side put in ships more than 100 in total you will see it. 4. Diplomatic ending seems broken and not available. 5. DLC only unlock playable races, no more. not really worth the price.
