This is about the strangest game I have played. I love a game which requires a little thought and ingenuity instead of a lot of killing and violence. It was a real experience. This is one of those games where you have to be careful where you exit the game or you have to repeat some of the sequence again. It was very enjoyable.

Well, it looks like I should have read the reviews before purchasing this game. The response is sluggish and I can't even get past go. Maybe a little more effort might reveal some things I am missing. I have a GTX 710 graphics card. Maybe that's a little light for this game.

I have reviewed this game once, but I feel the need to advise about one puzzle. When you get to the mechanics room, you will encounter a puzzle where you have to repeat some word sounds with five push buttons. Well, first there are three sounds. The next is five sounds. That's pretty easy. Howevr to get the third segment done, you have fourteen sounds. That's impossible to remember. The only way I could get through it was to be ready with my finger over the "P" keyboard button nad start the sequence and hit the "P" button for each sound. That way you have Fourteen pictures of the entire sequence. You lookat each one in sequence and assign a number to each button and write it down in order. Carefully enter the sequence and you willget through.

I stumbled on this game while looking through Gog's offers. I am absolutely enjoying every event in this game. It sure looks like the authors were Myst game builders. The puzzles aer brilliant and the scenery is captivating. I highly recommend this game.

Myst was a super game. Obduction is Myst on steroids! The only thing is that there are some things that you need to do that have absolutely no clues. Without some hints from previous game players, I might never have finished it. I never liked using hints, but had to with this game.
I had this game downloaded on my old computer and it would't run. Processor was too old. Well, I got an i5 computer and just started thus game. I have been waiting for a Myst style game and Cyan really did it! It is absolutely captivating and so well done and imaginative. I will be almost sorry to finish it. I hate the kill, kill, kill games that are flooding the market.

Ever since the Myst games, I have searched for similar adventures where your mechanical skills are challenged. You don't have to die a thousand times and not killing constantly. The Far Lone Sails adventure is a real treat. The video scenes and effects are really super. I wish I could find many more games like this. Try the game!
What I always loved about Tomb Raider was the ability to save the game at ANY point. I never finished the Tomb Raider Anniversary version because I became so irritated by getting killed and having to start a particular sequence all over again! The Last Revelation is like the old versions. I don't know how I ever missed this version.
