This game is a busted mess that only accomodates certain builds. It's not good, and people only say they like it because some dumb racist on YouTube told them to.
Bit overrated, honestly. Level design is interesting, the music is pretty good, and the nods to 90s FPS games are fun, but it doesn't feel particularly good to play. Weapon reloads are too common, and are especially inconvenient when dealing with enemy swarms. Weapons feel weak and lack punch, and resources are too scarce for my tastes. Plus, the writing is bad. Like, I get that that's the point, but it isn't even funny bad, a lot of lines are very cringe worthy.

Overrated. Not very fun to play, ugly, and the writing is more miss than hit. Plus it just runs bad out of the box. Character creation is so boring and tedious that a mistake in your build means 10 more minutes wasted doing it again. The voice acting also sucks and I couldn't care less about the plot. Oh no! A bunch of unlikable jerks want to control a dam. Wow, such high stakes for a place so devoid of anything interesting. I will never understand the hype surrounding this game, especially when there are a million better ones you can spend your money on. Soulless trash. But it's better than 3. So that's something, I guess. Play Fallout 1. It's like a thousand times better.
One time, I got food poisoning from a local sushi restaurant. That was a better use of my time and money than Slender: The Arrival.
