Cyberpunk 2077

Released too early

I am going to come back to the game in a few months. I really want it to work. The story line is great and the voice acting is also top notch. However, the further I progress the more I find myself restarting the game because I either get trapped in a corner, get stuck jacking into a terminal, get stuck after getting run over by a car, or my weapons stop working. There are things that can be overlooked but I find it worthy to mention them as well. I constantly see floating objects that npc's were using but end up just floating in space. I see a number of npc's doing the "T" pose. I also see them smoking things other than their smoke. I have seen dozens of cases where cars will just pop into existance causing a crash or vehicles flying through the air. I have lost count of how many times I can not pick something up because I can get in the right position to pick it up. I have also had to backtrack my steps a number of times trying to trigger a dialog event. I guess I must have some how passed by the trigger that would start conversations. Initially it was amusing, then frustrating now its just unplayable until enough gets fixed to make it worth while. I can be a great game. It just did not bake long enough. I know it came out late but I would have rather waited. One of the reasons why I bought the game on GOG was to support the team and hopefully get a great game. Unfortunatly my faith in this franchise is somewhere around what silverhand was probably thinking about V when they first met. I hope to raise this to 4 or 5 stars in a few months.
