I've been a beta tester since the beginning, and while I had hundreds of hours in beta, I still find the release enjoyable. Give it a chance, especially if you're coming from a game like Hearthstone. It's still a great card game.
The amount of fun this game offers is incredible. The shoot n loot never gets old, the generated levels make sure that playing a level again is a different experience than your first time, and the upgrade system for the weapons keeps the side missions viable throughout the whole playthrough.
