Thats absurd. These folks aren't gamers, they just want to do crazy religious grandstanding to damage anything that doesn't meet their "moral standard" and its hella lame that GOG allows it. So here's a 5 star to help counterbalance the stupidity.
This is a great little visual novel with some decent tactical battle elements which kind of set it apart from other games in this niche and give you a little extra interactive gameplay which is nice. Most of the negative reviews I have seen are coming from people who clearly don't enjoy the VN genre to begin with so I'm not sure why they even bothered. Obviously this isn't a genre for everyone. But hey if this is your kinda thing the game is actually pretty good.
They need to do some patching yet. Loved the game back in the day but right now its crashing for me as soon as I try to launch it.
I am hopeful that this game will improve with time as it is relatively new but at the moment it is inferior to galactic civilizations 2 (the older game in the series) in every respect. Save some money and buy the old one and be blown away then maybe come back to this once it is a bundled collectors edition and hope for the best.
