Divinity 2: Developer's Cut

Disapointing RPG, good Hack & slash

Not wanting to make any advertising for the website owner's, divinity II had been released one year after the witcher, and is far below it. I got the game based of globally positive reviews underlining the storytelling and the gameplay all packed in a nice artistic direction, and I found all quite under what I expected. Divinity II is not a bad game. I would even say it's a very good hack & slash, pushing the munchkin in all of us to always get better equipment and level. But out of that, the story for which I never felt concerned, as well as the artifical limits requiring brainless levelling at the beginning of the game, combined with a total lack of challenge at high level made the whole experience bitter. To be done once. Replay value... not fantastic.
