Bugs are not too noticeable anymore, aside from some glitched car ride cutscenes and wacky corpse ragdolls. Gameplay is simple and fun enough, but not worth grinding all the side content. Skill system is simple and nothing special compared to other AAA rpg skill systems. Hacking is somewhat cool and unique. Most of the main characters are really uninteresting (Jackie) and some of them even horribly annoying (Johnny). Even the dialogue lines the player himself can make, are way too edgy and infuriating. I couldn't establish an emotional connection even with my own character because of the enforced dialogue options. You also have to endure most of the story with an annoying anarchist talking to you inside your head. The story starts out as somewhat cool and interesting (Almost felt like a throwback to Deus Ex:HR & Mankind Divided), but most story missions are way too slow paced and dragged out. Aside from sitting in flying cars sipping champagne for 10 minutes, the story is not that long either. The dialogue choices are very limited and at the end, don't make any difference. This really makes the "rpg" aspect non existent. THE ENDING WAS A COMPLETE DISASTER and I felt absolutely unmotivated to touch the game after that. From what I've heard, all of the possible endings don't differ from each other that much either. The conclusion is that I am happy I didn't spend much more thant 20h playing the game, because it doesn't have much to offer. Most of the content is hidden in the gigs and side quests, which feel like an endless dopamine hamsterwheel. Side content might be fun for people who enjoy killing meaningless npcs and grinding for colored loot. If you are expecting a deep RPG with a branching storyline, interesting characters, and various possible playstyles, you ARE GOING TO BE DISAPPOINTED. If you are looking for a generic open world action-fps with neon colored vibe and endless amounts of meaningless loot grind, you might like it.
