I had to click on each individual title in the list, verifying I own them already, and then it lowered the price to 0. So it does seem to have problems with updating the price correctly however it does adjust. It was 7$ and some change before that. This is not the price of each title individually purchased which would be ~$8 before tax. A mild decrease. Nonetheless. These titles are worth owning if somehow you don't already (I own them on multiple digital stores and physical copies). Let's say maybe you're a young person just getting into classic games which are still good. This series is absolutely recommended. I do wish, even though it is a bland game, this bundle included Forgotten Sands. I originally played that on PS3 and it was fine, but I don't know what the PC port is like. None the less. I think it should be in this bundle and it's not because I don't think GOG has it. Anyway, these are good games worth purchasing and the GOG versions work totally fine on modern Windows last time I played them.

I played this on PS5. It's a gorgeous game, with really immersive detail. This is good because Silent Hill always stood out visually and this is no exception. The story in the original game is considered a masterpiece. It has an incredible plot, and the conclusion is mind bending. This new game thought it could do what was already a masterpiece better so it changed it. Honestly the story changes are not the worst part so I have the least complaints here. It's more mechanics and pacing that have been changed drastically. Due to the change of puzzles (location, solutions, etc.) certain moments are also different, but this is not actually as agregious as other problems. They made the game more combat focused. This is the thing that tells me that Bloober team just does not get it. There are a lot more instance where you have to fight in this one, and combat is much more involved. It's horrible. IOnstead of being terrible at combat (because you should be) now apparently James is a special forces assassin that can stand anything. This is a part of the game that is terrible. There is an increase in "boss" type encounters which completely detract from the point of the story and make it into a mindless Resident Evil clone a lot more than even the original Silent Hill sort of was. The game also stretches out locations to a ludicrous degree. In the original game you're progression is unfolded by areas you go to (apartments, hospital, etc.) In the original game there is a specific progression through these areas, but this game believes it can do it better and stretches these areas all out so they last significantly longer. Even a section of the game that was originally just jumping into holes is significantly longer which is so ludicrous. It really hurts the pacing that was masterrful in the original. Overall if you played the original than this game is fine if gotten on sale. If you did not I highly recommend the original instead. This one is inferior in many ways.

When Blizzard made games to have fun.
I remember playing these games a very long time ago. I played the first one in the 90s when it came out. I still have the demo somewhere. They've actually been on GOG for a very long time, too, but I never bought them because I am not good at them. I remember constantly restarting over and over. But I just saw The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare today, which was a phenomenal film, and I was overwhelmed with nostalgia for this game because of that movie. I should be clear- this game is completely unrelated to Ungentlemanly Warfare, which is basically the story of how Ian Fleming came up with James Bond. However, that being said it still is in a lot of ways that too. Because both things talk about spies during World War 2 I guess. For some reason though it very much made me think of this series again. Now I want to get them, but I'll wait for a sale since they probably don't work without fiddling with them.
