i love motocross i race an rmz 250 and this is my kinda game good for anyone who likes mx i suggest a controller
this is that one game, for which is so good, that all other shooters are considered a mere disappointment once played at least 10 minutes of this game. I have never once felt as if I were playing a game, yet I was in another world were I could do anything I wanted. everything in this game is intractable. for only 10 bucks, it will keep you satisfied for months if you are a casual gamer, maybe like 45 min. per play time, and a few weeks for hard core gamers, maybe 2 or more hours per play time. all in all it gets a 10 out of 10 in my book.
This game suffers from many mechanics, that almost seem like no active thought was put into them at all. Although the game's focus luckily not part of this, In fact you may forget about mechanics completely. a bad part would be the shooting elements, it is a little too linear, but still fits a fun run-and-gun style. you can take any combat scenario any way you like, almost like deus ex's way of combat, no lethal (although not as easily pulled off) quietly, or run and gun. personally I set everything of fire with my molotovs, then mow everything down. its a great way to play a game that you have a choice. well, I know this isn't the best review ever, but I love this game, this would get a 8/10 in my book, its a good pickup for some free weapons in the fortunes pack, and even better for only $10, more than worth it.
as the start of the famed arma or armed assault series known by hard-core fps gamers today, it makes for a great example of the way the games differ and compare, it has great controls, fairly good-for-the-time graphics, and smooth gameplay and combat. it also has a mission editor, full campaign spanning more than 10 hrs, and separate missions. try it out if you can, its all out simulation for only 10 bucks, it should be worth $30. 5/5 great game
