100 hours into this and 250+ into Slay the Spire. I think Monster Train and Slay the Spire are the current pinnacles of this type of card game. Both games are good, I don't see any point in discussing differences between them as an interested player will almost undoubtedly play and enjoy both. (The exception being that I think Slay the Spire is considerably harder to win consistently at the highest difficulty.) Excellent music in this game, great work. It's on sale often, hard to go wrong at any price if you like these games.
This is some classic FPS gaming. Most of your attacks are delayed to make it feel like you're casting magic. In this sense it feels really different from most other FPS, but it works well. Audio is great, visuals are great. Stage design is wonderful. Weapons are fun and varied. Just play the game.
