I originally bought this for the PS3 when it first released and I still have it. It was a licensed movie thing, which I normally avoid. However, the reason I bought it is because the original release actually came with a copy of Hard Boiled on Blu-ray on a separate disk, which wasn't available any other way at the time. [This release does not include the original film.] Surprisingly, the game is pretty good. It's not amazing, but is authentic to the source, feature's Chow Yun-Fat himself doing a decent enough phone in performance, and has some nice setpieces in it. It's well worth the price if you're a fan of Max Payne or 80s-90s Chow Yun-Fat films. For what it is, it's better than it has any right to be.
There are better versions of these games out there if you must own them. They don't support D-pad and are running on a sub par emulator. This is a lazy bare bones port from a company that doesn't care anymore. Konami is pretty much just a Yakuza front company that mostly makes gambling machines in Japan and has been for years. They only care about squeezing as much cash as they can from the franchises they own with as little effort as they can get away with. Don't support this garbage.
A great Indy adventure game. Definitely better than Staff of Kings. The Wii controls kind of made Staff of Kings a bit wonky. This one was made to be played with a controller and it shows. Lots of fun, played it years ago and didn't have it until this. Those who enjoy this might do well to hunt down a copy of Indian Jones and the Infernal Machine. It's probably the closest Indy game to this one, but it's much older. Definitely check this out.
