The world Hard West is set in was interesting and unique, and the characters fit in it perfectly. The bravado and ricochet mechanics were fun to play with, turning it almost into a puzzle game rather than a tactical combat one. The leveling system uses a cute card mechanic that fit the aesthetic and made choosing your powers for each character interesting and engaging.
