If you haven't played Duke Nukem 3D you owe it to yourself to try. If you have played it, it is as good as you remembered. Duke 3D is a FPS staring a cocky hilliarious and somewhat crude (but in a good way) hero, Duke Nukem, who is here to save our chicks from an alien invasion. Duke 3D is an old school shooter that focuses more on a run and gun type of game play. The AI will stand (or fly) and shoot at you while you move around enough not too got hit and shoot back. You can duck behind cover or move behind a wall but this is really the type of game that focuses more on explosive action and less on strategy. The fast paced action makes the game a lot of fun. And on top of it all there is Duke's funny comments, aliens that are waiting to be blown to bits in several entertaining ways and even strippers. The game earned its M rating and was quite controversial. But let's be honest the sex, violence and swearing is why it was and is so much fun to play. Duke 3D doesn't take itself too seriously which puts all the mature content in a more over the top and sometimes comical context. So when you fire an RPG at a Pig Cop and Duke makes a comment about the mess you will understand why so many people have fond memories of this game. Give it a try if you haven't already and if it's an old favorite it is worth a second look even after all these years. "Hail to the King Baby"
