Works fine on two PC's that I've tried it on, Nvidia cards in both, if that helps. It took me about an hour to get used to the interface and learn how to play. Once I did I found it to be a great game. It's exactly what Hello Games demonstrated from the beginning. Although exploring is the main game dynamic, managing resources and upgrading equipment makes the experience more fun. I made the mistake of buying a new ship in the Space Station that didn't have any fuel. I'd sold everything I owned to buy it, including the resources for creating fuel. I ended up running around the landing deck approaching every ship that arrived to see if they had fuel to sell. Eventually made it off the Station, but this all just added to the experience that is No Man's Sky. I'm having a ball exploring caves, researching creatures, learning the languages and following the path of Atlas. It's been a flawless experience for me and I'd recommend it to anyone that likes free-form survival games.
