Dungeon Siege Collection

just for DS2...

haven't tested DS1 or DS3 on my system, so no feedback on those regarding DS2, as some pointed out, it's missing the expansion, Broken World - it is mandatory to have that! even if you had it however, note that i was unable to properly play it on my PC (only the windowed version works, kind of) i use windows 10 64 bit, a legion from lenovo gaming system (16gb ram, ge -force 1660, i5 processor) problem? when you run it on full screen, your mouse pointer is missing - you can't select anything tried some workarounds found online (nothing worked) you can "play" it windowed, maybe, but that's not a solution as a side note, i have not bought this game from GOG, have it as hard copy version for several years now (including expansion)

Fallout Tactics

A good game, but...

Ok, I played this game several times already and it is worth it. I will not talk about the issues that were (probably) eliminated in this version, i'll talk about the experience itself. There are a few stats that are useless on any other party member but may be of use to you as a leader. For example, based only your character charisma you get the rating among the BOS and that rating influences the other NPCs you can take with you and the weapons available at the vendor. The weapons sold in bunkers are usually the same as what you can get from the missions (you will probably only buy rare ammo from the store) so no big deal here. Also, you will eventually get access to the other NPCs, but later. That means that they will be higher level when you get them and this means that you will not be able to control their progress - for example, if you want an NPC based on their good primary statistics (STR, PE, etc) and you want to develop them in Small Arms, if you get them later you may have the surprise to see they developed their Unarmed or Melee Weapon skill - and worst, they may have even picked a perk that is useless for them. That being said, I did like this game but played as a team but as one character only. Yes, it's possible to finish this one with one character and it's not as hard as you may think - if you know how to develop your character. From some points of view it's even easier - using only one person it's easier to manage and won't be that expensive to use in missions. They will not waste that many bullets for example. You will also be able to finish all mission objectives, save one secondary objective in one mission - not such a big deal. Note that you will not get more experience with one character as the experience is not "split", is actually given evenly to all party members. The sole exception to this rule is when you use first aid/doctor skills, those are given only to the one using the skill. Bring peace to the wasteland! :)
