This title has always been special to me. I picked it up as a complete random buy back in 1995 and from the word: GO, have been captivated by the story, fight and world of the Silencer. While the controls back in the day were very inovative, by today's standards they would seem very strange. Never fear though; simply press the F1 key and all the controls are at your fingertips to review. Never let yourself be fooled; from the FMV cutscenes, the array of weapons and characters you interact with and especially the winding levels you find yourself thrust into you will be drawn in and hooked just as I was back then. So, grab this incredible action game and dive in head first.
Picked this game up on a whim and have been really enjoying it. The controls need to be tweaked to your prefered layout from the start, but I don't see that as a bad thing (just something to keep in mind) The visuals look very good in higher resolutions and the array of weapons is impressive. The story starts a bit slow, but it pulls you in as you traverse the trenchs of a nightmarish system of war that has lasted for 50 years. Would recommend this game for anyone looking for some good old fashioned shooting fun.
