Stodgy exposition was made all the harder to read by the terrible font. I barely started to play before I gave up.
Starflight 1 is completely unplayable on a modern computer - some of the letters can't even be distinguished from one another due to the terrible font. Starflight 2 is a slight improvement (at least the text is readable), but the controls are wonky and it just wasn't worth the effort for me to figure out how to play.
