Hard West 2 is a fairly straightforward tile strategy game where you play as a makeshift group of cowboys/cowgirls, native americans, and zombie avengers (my best interpretation of Old Man Bill so far). As someone who enjoyed strategy games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Mario + Rabids Kingdom Battle, and Into the Breach, I think this game is pretty great. Much of the combat complexity comes from a combination of "Luck" (which improves accuracy), bullet ricochet (for hitting opponents behind cover), character skills, and "Brovado" (essentially getting a kill resets your action points) combat systems. I'm only a few hours in, but I've really enjoyed the dark Western combination that is accompanied by great artwork.
