Yes, that's right. This spanking new monkey that came out in 2018, depends on a version of openssl that was replaced by a (compatible) version in 2016. Because of how they link the game with the library you _must_ use this exact version; any newer (compatible) version is not accepted. Nobody ships that library on modern linux distros -- in fact, in 2018 when it came out, nobody did either. To top it off, the game doesn't even bundle the library with it. The game also uses non-standard library names for a bunch of stuff that you have to fix manually (just simlink them will be fine).
