Cyberpunk is easily one of the best games of the last few years, especially on PC - but the performance and stability is a MAJOR problem. On my 3090 it looks truly phenomenal, but suddenly I am encountering frequent crashes. After 100+ hours in the game with only one crash the game has now crashed literally 7 times in the last day as of January 2, 2021. The crashes make it almost unplayable in its current state.
Grid is not a racing sim, yet it manages to have some of the most realistic driving physics I have ever seen in a game, at least as far as the drifting aspect of the game is concerned. I've been drifting for over 10 years, have competed nationally, and count top level professional drivers among my close friends. I say this only to emphasize that I know drifting, and know when games get it right. I also notice when games get it wrong. As far as the "feel" of drifting a 500hp+ car, Grid does a surprisingly good job recreating aspects of drifting that other games do very poorly; the way the car sets when you activate the emergency brake; engaging the clutch for a moment to break traction; the way the car transitions during the drift. If you have a passing interest in drifting and way to play drifter for a few hours, you cannot go wrong with Grid.
