Gameplay wise it doesn't do much, think Detroit: Become Human without quicktime events. World and story wise I had a great time. I personally like the stylized graphics. Definitely get it if you like Science Fiction stories like Detroit: Become Human!
The story seemed interesting, but having to control every single action of every single character in your party just gets tiring. If you're playing DnD, you also don't have to control the combat of the other characters in your team. I expected something closer to Pillars of Eternity, which does give you the option to at least let your party members be controlled by AI.
Just finished the main campaign after 70 hours of playing and had a lot of fun with it! Decided to start with this DLC. This is the first time after those 70 hours that I started to skip dialogue. Not a single interesting character or choice, they're all really annoying. Not to mention I've been branded in the face like cattle. I actually hate it! I wanted to play a fun single player shooter similar to the Shadow Warrior reboot. I normally don't like roguelike/roguelite games, nor do I find the setting of this game interesting. Decided to give it a try and was instantly hooked. The movement and shooting are really good and fast paced. Replayability is high due to always finding new weapons/skills. Beating the first pyramid will take a bit of time, but is definitely not impossible nor really hard. You'll have to understand the bosses and that means dying to them a couple of times. Luck can be a factor, but you will become less dependent on it the more you learn. Will good scrolls make it easier? Sure. TL;DR - Definitely worth buying for old school shooter fans that don't mind a new twist to the genre. A must if it's on sale for under €10,-
