The title really surprised me as i had not heard of it prior to seeing it on gog.com. The combat mechanics are great and especially against bosses the positioning of your characters is very important. There are few skills but they can be developed in different ways. Currently i play the game with two different setups, one is very def focused and slowly wears the enemy down, one is very agressive with lots of aoe and high single target damage. Characters are fun and not your usual run of the mill knight on shining armour. If you like tactical combat you will probably want this.
I only play two roguelikes, this and dredmore. Both are good in their own right, if you like the base game you cant go wrong with the expansion. On a side note: I am getting sick of the general attitude of people complaining about prices. It is 5 (five) dollars for a DLC that is absolutely worth the price. If you cannot or will not afford that, it is your decision but giving it lower ratings because you dont care about people getting paid for their work is just plain wrong and ignorant.
