A game about managing an item shop! Featuring the cute capitalist Recette! Anyways this schitck of this game is that it combines RPG and item shop management quite seamlessly. You collect/buy item to sell at your shop and this is the shop mode where people will throng in and see the item on display and you sell it to them at high prices before bargaining a much better price. Each of the customer have their own set of like and dislike and knowing how to exploit it is key to get maximum profit which is rather important later on. As for the rpg part you can hire heroes and dress them up and go to dungeons to get high quality items for free... provided you survive. Otherwised you will lose everything. It plays like an old rpg game top view. With enough money and story progression you can upgrade your shop with a lot more stuff which can increase your profit which is important since every single action takes 1 time unit from you and you have a limited number of them per day. Because at the end of every week you need to pay an increasing higher amount of money to [spoiler]. And its an instant game over back to the beginning of the week if you fail. This will result in cutthroat sales and risky dungeon venturing . Overall quite fun and the story isnt nothing of worth to speak about other than its 'CUTE' but I have to dock a star away for having an intense difficulty spike later on. Capitalism Ho.
Steam Version Not Gog. This is a good honest fun samurai game, from the 7+ hours i played it with the sword fight feels good and fluid although at first it does feel rather stiff. The story has an incredible branching system where every action or side you chose will affect the entire story ending and this will railroad down a different story each playthrough which makes this good for multiple playthrough. Although stuff you do that affect the town hub as a whole is persistent from one gameplay to another. Only killer for me is the fact that the dialogue are rather slow and boring and there seems to be a slight pause in between dialogue transition. But for $15 you could hardly find a better samurai style game for the pc [drm-free too] so its worth a shot imo. Just be sure to have a controller.
