Cyberpunk 2077

Good game but not great

Pros: Story Gunplay Characters Cons: Graphics are disappointing Enemy variety is limited World is huge but lacks soul Most side quests are boring I personally feel that this game would be better served as a more linear game with only the bigger side missions. The enemies just lack enough variety to be interesting and to drive fetch quests, I had zero interest to go and complete every mission like I do in other RPG's. The graphics are good but to be honest they don't look 5 years newer than Wild Hunt. My suggestions for improvement: No character creator - just have a single pre-defined protagonist - this will give more attachment to the character. Make the world smaller, Night City just isn't interesting enough to make me want to explore it. Make it linear - model it on something like Metro exodus. Create a larger variety of enemies with good cinematic introductions to them. There is nothing wrong with having a good 30 hour game.

GreedFall

A hidden Gem

Good: * Good Story * Very few MMO-lite fetch quests * Good graphics * Good combat * Unique setting * Almost bug free with zero crashes Bad: * Average voice acting, contains really cringeworthy dialogue * Exploration is limited * Weapon variation is limited and repetitive * Repetitive combat * Limited variation in enemies * Story drags on with far to much back and forth. Sometimes less is more. * On normal difficulty the game gets really easy The first thing to remember with this game is it isn't a AAA game, the developers have punched above their weight to give a AAA like experience. The developers appear to run a good ship to deliver a project of this size in the timeframe they have with the budget they have. This game plays a little like Dragon Age 2 with a pause ability like dragon age origins. The world is broken up into geographic zones so it isn't open world, and you cannot go far of the path, and enemies spawn at the same point. You have the normal starting classes with magic, Range (with rifles) and Melee with your typical heavy tank and assasin like builds. I played through as the magic class. Skill trees are very limited with fairly boring options. The setting is unique with a 16th century like world with magic and beasts in it. There are several factions that you can earn favour with and all factions are human, there are no non-human like races. The monsters are very limited in number, so once you are five or so hours into the game you have seen them all. A gripe for me is the factions feel largely the same with the exception of the native factioni - which to be honest are terribly done; they have the most cringe-worthy voices and although they have put alot of effort into the depth of the faction, it is very hard to get past their voices. The story is good however drags on for too long (about 50 hours). I won't lie, by the end it became a chore but I stuck with it as I wanted to see the ending. I would rather they have cut of a few hours.
