Solasta: Crown of the Magister

Great cRPG

I enjoyed it a lot. Recommended for fans of cRPG's, tabletops and/or tactical/turn-based combat. Pros: -Good pacing (around 40 hours for first full playthrough) -Excellent translation of DnD rules to a video game -Excellent UI; easy to use, looks great, does not feel cluttered even when you have tons of items -Not too many silly side quests (you won't be finding people's lost pets as the world is ending) -Surprisingly few bugs, none game-breaking -Good value for money at 35 USD -Dungeon Maker functionality should allow for a lots of great user-generated campaigns in the future Cons/might bother some people: -Dialogue can be a little cringey at times -Might be difficult to pick up if not familiar with DnD rules or similar tabletop RPGs; easy to pick skills and abilities that are relatively not very useful and there is no way to respec (as of the 1.0 release) -Not much to do other than get to the next fight; quite linear -Limited enemy variety -Not-AAA graphics and not the greatest voice acting The bugs I did encounter playing through the 1.0 release: -a couples of times, objects became unable to be interacted with (not sure what caused this but restarting fixed it -weapon offset slightly off in the inventory screen- weapons clip through the hand slightly above where your character is supposed to be holding it -one side quest unable to be completed due to a missing NPC
