As a fan of Resident Evil, this game holds up very well, despite being clunky. I actually played this for a project I'm working on about Post Human: Survival Horror by Bring Me The Horizon. The albums first two songs are heavily inspired by Resident Evil, the first song especially "Dear Diary," was inspired by the keepers diary in the game.
