I really wanted to like this game. The art is really well done. I enjoyed the comic book style of the cinematic sequences. The music is pretty good. And I thought the overarching story was interesting as well. But the whole game falls apart when it comes down to the details. I'm not sure if it's poor writing or poor translation, but most of the dialogue is awkward and uninspired. And the voice acting is just as awkward. It really felt more like reading than acting. And although the basic gameplay and interface itself is fine, there are many unintuitive puzzles that will have you shouting at the screen with rage when you find out the solution. This could have been a classic, but as-is it's probably not worth your time.

This is a great game in a VERY unassuming package. Don't judge it by it's looks. And don't be turned off by the fact that this is a platformer where you can't jump. It takes some getting used to, but it's really a fantastic mechanic and Terry Cavanagh has milked it for every ounce of fun and challenge.
