When this game came out, there were a few other soccer games available, but not one nearly as fun, challenging, and exciting as MicroProse Soccer. The controls are easy to master, and the pitch is the right size for the players (unlike other games where the field seemed kind of small). Then there is the World Cup tournament, which other contemporary games didn't have. Did this game get left behind? Sure, but so does every other game. I moved on from MP Soccer and played many others, but very few reached the heights of MicroProse Soccer. Truly happy to see it in GOG!
