I picked this game up during a sale because I had always wanted to complete a Myst-like game. What a wonderful game which has quickly become one of my favorite and most memorable - and I have been a PC gamer since 1994! I was immediately hooked - the graphics, the calmness, the music, and importantly the puzzles - were excellent. It was so nice to play a game of introspective calm, where I could sit with the puzzles in a supportive in-game atmosphere and let the mystery of the world and the present puzzle wash over me, and get really into having my mind challenged rather than just my reflexes. The thread of the puzzles throughout the game is masterful. What a marvellous experience. If you like puzzle games, enjoy having your mind challenged, love good atmosphere and story with wonderful music then I highly recommend this game.
Having just completed the game I felt strongly compelled to review it. This is an artistically beautiful, deep, and enriching puzzle game which draws you into its world and story through incredibly beautiful art, rich puzzle gameplay, and a meditative and minimal musical score. Repeated playthroughs will allow one to more deeply engage with the magical artwork, the touching story, the significant symbolism, and fantastic puzzle mechanics. Truly a unique game, and one of the most memorable I have played. I felt like a little kid opening up one of those mind-bending puzzle books as a kid and just being drawn into each panel. Highly recommended!
