You probably heard or read someone saying that Pathologic is impossible. Inflexible. Dense. Hardcore. Tough. Too hard. Boring. Unfair. Sad. It is. But you get used to it. And then you start loving the game. For me it was like that. First i played it knowing nothing and dropped the game. Then after watching a vídeo and seeing the pictures of the game´s art i felt an immense desire to play it, to see where all that plot was going to end and how the characters would solve the plague trouble. And, of course, to see and hear that atmosphere. I love the art and the music and how precise they are in conveying the complete collapse and ruin of the town through the days. Please, give it a try. It is absolutely worth checking it out. Don´t trust reviewers. Experience the game yourself. And if you speak portuguese, now there is a translation available. It´s fantastic. Play it in portuguese!!
Play it. it´s increadible. it's inventive. this game never stops surprising me and it is always good to play it. just give it a try. Masterful storyline, good rpg mechanics and the gamepkay and worldbuilding is too much fun.
I played Baldur´s Gate 2 when i was young. My dad had installed it and i used to spend time wating him playing and playing my own game. Now i started playing the first game thanks to the Prime offer. I would say that i feel that i'm liking it and enjoying the learning curve. BG2 was way harder and unforgiving. Plus, knowing how to properly read and think now makes a huge difference. But, anyway, it is a great game. Give it a try!!
I started playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. here at GOG buying Shadow of Chernobyl. I still remember the joy of buying and playing it for days. Then i got Clear Sky and got disappointed and after a time away from Stalker, i bought Call of Pripyat. What a excellent surprise!! I loved the game. It is a great mix of survival horror/FPS/RPG. The visuals are so good ( i can't believe that this was made in 2009) and the atmosphere is so unnerving but confy at the same time. With Call of Pripyat, i got the same feeling of pure joy i had when playing Fallout: New Vegas. Play it. You won't regret it. Good hunting, Stalker...
