I could hardly put into words just how stunning this game is to look at, play, and experience. From the superb visuals to the fluid gameplay, Chidren of Morta is a game that must be played to truly appreciate just how amazing it is. The pixel art is gorgeous, the player characters all have different play styles and move around the screen like some sort of mesmorizing dance. The character upgrades and unlocks all provide meaningful and significant progression, and the world is both beautiful and foreboding at the same time. I can't say enough good things about this game, it's just a fantastic game. So worth the asking price.
So far, I'm really enjoying the game. I've given it four stars as I can sense there's still a little ways to go with development, but what's here is already rock solid. There's a lot to like if you like the Stardew Valley sort of game, though it doesn't quite have the same "living town" feel that Stardew Valley has. I'm still in early game and so far the progression seems fun and easy to understand. The mechanics are also quite easy to pick-up and utlize. Again, if you like cute town builders like Stardew Valley, you'll probably feel right at home in Littlewood. Definitely recommended.
