No joke. I was properly enamoured with this game back in the day, even if the gameplay itself was very slightly limited there was an immense amount of character from the presentation, not just the proper "FMV is the next big thing" feel of the acting but the way individual locations are displayed and characterised. It made me believe, as a young child, that I was immersed in the kind of edgy, chaotic galaxy displayed. Smuggling illegal goods, exploring distant mysteries. Hiring wingmen. Hiring Alopecia Cook, who helped me out of many a tight situation. It came on 4 CDs, didn't it? I'm not sure. Each CD had a different colour. How blessed we were to pass through that age of gaming.
