Crossroads Inn Anniversary Edition

Crossroads Sin

Have you ever wondered how great it would be to travel through time, land in the Middle Ages and visit a cozy inn? You know, all the food poisoning, intrigues and adventures – it sounds so cool, right? Imagine my happiness when I heard that someone's working on this concept. I was literally thrilled! Mechanics finished to the finest detail, well-thought-through narrative structure and amazing quests. I was ready to take a "gaming leave" from my MD, teach my doggo to use a manual can opener and tell my partner that I need some time for myself (a statement "It's not you, it's me" would be 100% true in this case!). I waited quite a long time, and it turned out that it was so… not worth it. The game has really impressive list of problems and bugs. There're crashes, a tutorial that thought me some basics but didn't tell much about more advanced options, a codex that doesn't seem to exist and the narrative structure, which I found very dissapointing. This game made me really sad and to be honest I'm at a loss for what to do next – refund it or keep it? I think that in this particular case marketing was on a higher level than the quality of a product, which couldn't end well. Hear ye, hear ye! If you saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail I bet you can recall a scene in which the Black Knight was trotting out the same sentence: "None shall pass!". Well, when it comes to Crossroads Inn, this fella seems to be a real fortune-teller!
