Great graphics, interesting story but very unintuitive load out mechanic. Once I wrapped my brain around it, I started to enjoy the game much more being able to use the weapons, etc. I had procured during the mission instead of selling everything because I didn't know what I was doing. Lol!

I've been putting off picking this back up because I was sure it was 1 of those "better left in the past" games but after resisting for years, I finally gave in. Having a blast with it. I'm enjoying it every bit as much as I did when I played it way back when. Can't run it in full screen but everything else (widescreen 1080p and above) is working great. No regerts ;-)

I was skeptical when I first heard about Genesis since it just seemed to pop up out of no where. Then I heard Airship Syndicate was invovled (Joe M.) and I was sold. Didn't read any previews/reviews just preordered it. The original will always be my favorite but I have enjoyed all the entries in the series (2 being my least favorite). Being able to play as War is a big plus for me. I'm a big Diablo III fan too, so I thought this game would be a no brainer. This game has eclipsed DIII in my opinion. I just love this universe and the artstyle and the play mechanics. It's my 2nd favorite in the series. It's a shame Strife didn't get his own 3rd person "Zelda" game but this game is still a great entry in the series. You can tell by the drawn cutscenes (not rendered) that there's a bit of "bugdet" feel to it but it honestly doesn't detract from the overall experience. The gameplay is fantastic and the humrous writing is a nice change of pace. Highly recommended!

I'm with armaankhan on this 1. I decided to buy this on sale with some reservations because of the reviews. i selected "combat similar to Darksiders 1 and 2" in the options and then played for about 6 freakin hours. Totally glued to the controller and didn't stop playing until my wife came home and wanted to watch tv (I was streaming from my pc). To me, DS3 is more similar to DS1 (I got tired of DS2 about 3/4 in). Can't wait to fire this back up. I can't remember the last time I stayed up past 12am on a work night playing a game.

being a 40+ yr old gamer, i somehow missed the raiden series. i ran across raiden legacy on android a while back for cheap and decided to give it a go. i was immediately engrossed. i loved it. i then purchased raiden iv overkill on ps3 and raiden fighter aces on 360 which is a much better port than legacy albeit no raiden I. so now all i was missing was II and III. thank you g.o.g. for alleviating the issue for III now i guess it's off to ebay to find the ps1 version of I and II to complete my raiden collection.
