Mafia: Definitive Edition

A mafia simulator.

Mafia Definitive Edition is what happens if Hitman, Grand Theft Auto, realistic driving games and mafia movies had a son. It's that good, also because of its linear narrative and gameplay. Open world games full of sidequests and missions were a marvel back at the time, but now it seems like a gimmic. Playing games like this, which while being open world don't have secondary missions, it's a breath of now considered fresh air. The story is as good as mafia movies get, with a cabbie getting involved with the mafia and you know how it goes. There is betrayal, collections, heists, paranoia and more. Everything you would expect from a mafia movie. The remake in itself is incredible, making the tedious and difficult parts of the original game a non-essential option. It also has stunning visuals that let the world feel like 1930's. Would definitely recommend, and I'd also like to see other mafia games remakes, but not like Mafia 2 Definitive Edition. With Mafia: Old Country coming soon, it's good to see the roots of the franchise or just refresh your memory.

Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™ Game of the Year Edition

Nemesis System + Arkham Gameplay

Shadow of Mordor is a timeless classic that needs to be expanded on, as it is the brilliant founder of the Nemesis System, a petented mechanic for A.I. more Warner Bros videogames need to implement. Apart from this system, the game also has a gameplay ripped straight out of Batman that makes you feel like a god fighting demons.
