Cyberpunk 2077

With some exceptions, what I wanted

Before pre-ordering the game I was concerned that the game would be another Ubi-like game. I was one of htose who didn't get that much into the hype, and was hoping just for an 8/10 game at the minimum(high place to set the bar, but ocme on, the footage was impressive). And... I can't say that I didn't get what I want. Instead of a hand-holdy Ubisoft game I got a futuristic Bethesda game. There are just as many funny glitches that don't break the game but are simply funny(though compared to others my game has been ridiculously smooth with only the occasional T-pose and wavy trees), just as many good ideas countered by how much potential they simply took out of the game(dual wielding mod when?). To sum up, while the game has its problems(control scheme takes some getting used to, low-tier vehicles handling either like a concrete fridge or like a log of melting butter and the occasional immersion-breaking funny bugs) you need to look past that to see what the 'real' game behind it has to offer: A stunning open-world with challenging combat and decent stealth, a fun and FAR from grindy leveling system, satisfying weapons with number-crunching stats aspect to them(looking at you, Ashura) and hours upon hours of side-missions with interesting stories packed into every corner.
