It's still an enjoyable play in 2021 if you can get past its hurdles and "quirks". With seven simultaneously playable samurai, you get seven inventories, seven character sheets, seven skill trees, and a 5,040 lineup permutations to play with and it can be a slog to manage all of this, especially with the UI/UX of a 2001 game. That said, if they ever make a modernized version of this game, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Hell, I bought this one in less time than that.
