I've only spent a few hours playing this game but I am completely enthralled by the sound track. I've played it over and over again because of the mood it sets. Truly skilled composing. The game itself has great mechanics and provides a rich story that propels you through the missions. I like the fact that there are extra perks for doing the mission a certain way because it provides replayability. Often times, though, I move on to the next mission because I want to find out what happens next! Definitely recommend purchasing this title.

I know this game was hyped, but actually loading in and getting to play it? Breathtaking, truly. I play on ultra settings at 30fps and it's an amazing world. The intricacies are so well thought out. I've spent 45 hours playing this game and am only 16% of the way through the plot because I love all the side quests. It's like 3 games in one: Stealth, Combat, and Cars. Truly worth the money and I'm so glad I could buy it on GoG to fund the developers directly. I know right now it's very popular to trash this game because of bugs or glitches, but I have never had this game crash on me and the bugs are mild at worst (seeing a floating cigarette when an NPC takes a drag). Maybe I just have a low threshold for what will bother me, but this hasn't ruined the experience at all. Definitely recommend.

So I went with three E's because I'm pretty much ecstatic over this game. I played all the old Baldur's Gates as well as Icewindale 2 and Neverwinter Nights. I never played Divinity, but I've played games similar to it. BG3, though, is so worth picking up! I know it's only Early Access, but it still has so much to offer. The way the characters speak to one another, to how the game mechanics do rolls and checks--I just love how immersive it is. I feel actual regret when I do something bad in game, or the anticipation of maybe stepping on a trap has me on the edge of my seat. I've played about 5 hours (2 of those with friends online with Steam players (yes, you can cross play with Steam and GOG)) and it was fantastic. We had very little problems connecting and I we didn't get any lag! Maybe we were just lucky, but I found it seamless. There are totally a lot of bugs. Sometimes bodies will fly through the air and get stretched across the entire screen. Sometimes in combat your turn might get skipped if you're not careful. Sure, if you double click on your level up there's a chance you'll be saddled with the defaults instead of getting to choose because of the lag. These things I can look past because the game is of high quality in other places, specifically in story telling. All in all, I'm super impressed and was NOT planning on buying this game until it came out, but I'm so glad I got it early because it's totally worth digging into.

I was on the fence when I first saw the trailer, but after watching some reviews on Youtube and on other sources, I was still intrigued. TLDR: So glad I bought it at $40. So the price was a bit daunting at $40. On GoG, I never expected to pay full price for games, and up until this point I've bought games on sale at about $5 and been super happy with it. Disco Elysium changed that for me. This game is amazingly nerdy, and so frickin' funny. After the first 5 minutes of gameplay, where you wake up in a drunken amnesia, I was already licking dried rum off the countertop in a cafeteria. This alone made me bust up laughing. It is incredibly cheeky, witty, and is completely self-aware about it. I've never played a detective game before, but I'm so happy Disco is my first. The story is fascinating, and the sheer amount of options and rolls give me that sneaking feeling that if I had only played things a little differently, then maybe I would have seen a completely different side to the story or particular interaction with NPCs. The customization is amazingly well thought out. I love that the bulk of the game is played inside the character's--your--head. I am so truly impressed and am recommending it to anyone I can. By the way, I have been able to get Disco Elysium to play flawlessly on Linux with some tweaking via Lutris. Thanks for making such a quality product!

I played this game a long time ago when it came out and I lost my copy through the years. That said, finding it on GOG has allowed me to play it once again! The story holds up, and there are some bugs, but I've found that some mods make a big difference in ironing out some of the most annoying issues. That said, the game itself is a wonderful story arc and I'm so glad that this concept is going to get revisited with another game in this universe. I'll definitely be holding on to my copy of VtM:Bloodlines this time thanks to GOG! Definitely recommend this game if you like the immersive (yet somewhat campy) world of the World of Darkness.
