Just a fun romp in a Firefly-esque, Fallout New Vegas style world. Lots of jokes and fun had in this story line. There's not a whole lot of strategy in my experience, and the companions die quickly, but playing on a harder difficulty seems like it's worth it. Definitely recommend when it's on sale.
It's a fun game that focuses on the story behind the main character. I think that makes the entire game much more compelling than just "survive zombies."
This game has lots of interesting mechanics, good voice acting, and looks very similar to Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale. I'm enjoying my first play through and it seems like there are new and interesting mechanics at each level up. I recommend this game.
Definitely recommend this game to anyoen who hasn't tried it yet. I haven't played the DLC, but the base game is plenty of hours of fun.
This is a fun little game with an engaging story and mechanics. Each cleaner has a different style and it's refreshing to play different ones per scenario. I haven't played that long, but I've really enjoyed playing it so far.
I keep coming back to the Witcher 3. The narrative is truly enjoyable. The game is super polished. The world is immersive and combat really feels amazing. SO much work and thought went into this game. I'm so happy there's a newgame + option, and I'll keep playing well over 175+ hours (Already bought it on Steam, but I had to buy it here, too).
To me, the Icewindale 2 game holds all the nostalgia of playing a fantastic story driven turn based rpg. This game tops it. There are so many hidden and intricate nuances in dialog or in actions that you will miss so much but still get so much! I’ve only played for 30 hours but I just got off the first island. Fantastic game and I definitely recommend it. Haven’t found a single bug. The characters are great. I just hope these same developers can bring this quality to Baldurs Gate 3.
I was super surprised by this game. I did not expect it to be so interesting, or so well voice acted. So from the get-go, you have to understand this game is not going to revolutionize any sort of fighting mechanic. The fighting is repetitive, though satisfying. You fly, dodge, fling objects, shoot, dodge, and jump from platform to platform. That's it. No game changing abilities (except for telekinesis) that help you defeat enemies. But the game is about a story. More than that, the game is about beautiful graphics, superb voice acting, and phenomenal character design. The absolute best part of this game for me were the conversations between your character and the others you encounter in the game. How did they do such a great job with motion capture, with pacing, with voice overs, and finally with camera direction? That really blindsided me. The game is cool, but not scary. It's more of an homage to its roots than a scary romp through the government held things that go bump in the night. You are a super hero in this game and can overcome pretty much anything (maybe I should have played on a difficulty other than normal). All in all, I definitely recommend paying near $15 for this game and the expansions. That character modeling/rigging/camera direction was fantastic.
